“Solitude” is a lyrical audio work that considers the future of Altadena, California, a model city in post-industrial urban America located 14 miles northeast of Downtown Los Angeles. Through the use of multiple voices and a fictional character Martine Syms and Nicky Benedek craft a g-funk journey through the San Gabriel Mountains.
